Anne Wilson Guthrie is a Tuscaloosa native. She is an honors graduate of the University of Alabama Honors College. While at the University, Anne was a member of Mortar Board, Carl Elliott Society charter member, The XXXI, and other honor societies. She continues to serve Alpha Gamma Delta as an advisor. Anne graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2000, and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar that year.
Anne focuses her practice on helping families and advocating for children. Her practice includes bankruptcy, divorce, adoption, custody modification, child support modification, and drafting wills and other probate documents.
Anne is also a registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution for civil and domestic relations mediation.
Anne and her husband Dan have three children, who have been raised to enjoy Alabama's beautiful woods, rivers and Gulf coast. She is an active member of Tuscaloosa First United Methodist Church, former President of The Arts Council of West Alabama, and former President of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association.
