E. Calhoun Wilson

Cal is a native of Eufaula, Alabama.  After receiving his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama, he made Tuscaloosa his home.  He has dedicated his practice to helping people find peace of mind and practical legal solutions.  His primary areas of practice are consumer bankruptcy, probate matters, and Social Security disability appeals.  

Cal was awarded with the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association's Pillar of the Bar award in 2019, for strength of character, honesty, compassion and continued enthusiasm in practicing law. 

He has served Tuscaloosa County as a member of the Board of Trustees of Tuscaloosa Academy, three terms as President of the University Club Board of Directors, President of the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society, member of the University of Alabama Parents' Advisory Committee, President of the YMCA, President of the Exchange Club, taught Sunday School at Christ Episcopal Church, and served in multiple capacities on the Jemison Board of Directors.  This community involvement to make Tuscaloosa more livable and beautiful is a reflection of his generosity.

Cal and his wife, Gene Henderson Wilson, are parents to Anne Wilson Guthrie and Sadie Wilson Vice.
